Inhibition of Escherichia coli Induced Bacterial Meningitis by Ansamycin Loaded Polymeric Nanoparticles

Abstract: Background: Bacterial meningitis is a serious medical disorder that should be treated as soon possible. Aim: The effect of ansamycin nanoformulation on Escherichia coli induced was investigated. Materials and Methods: By injecting directly into the brains Swiss Albino mice, an experimental model established. Results: As expected, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-10 secretion stimulated, following neutrophil infiltration. Additionally, BBB’s vasopermeability raised. Ansamcyin nanoparticles were delivered to assess their therapeutic potential in preventing bacterial caused by coli. Ansamycin nanoparticle-treated mice produced less tumour necrosis factor alpha interleukins when brain tissue stained, compared nontreated mice. E. coli-induced increases permeability blood-brain barrier infiltration inflammatory neutrophils also prevented. Conclusion: These findings suggest could used treat meningitis. It has been shown nanoparaticles can prevent from mortality, therefore enhancing outcome. Keywords: coli, meningitis, Ansamycin, polymeric nanoparticles, Improved outcomes.
